Can't believe they've broken up. I'm completely heartbroken. They were my favourite band for over 10 years and just like that they decide to call it quits. At least they leave us with a legendary legacy.

This album is actually kinda djenty when it's heavy lol. Drop A 9-string Creed? Nice one Stapp. Album still sucks tho, definitely Creed's worse. Part of what made Creed tolerable was Tremonti's distinct guitarwork and almost NONE of that is present here. I guess he didn't wanna waste some good Alterbridge riffs on the new Creed album?

this album didn't really have much of a chance. tremonti wasn't going to waste any quality material he had for alterbridge or his solo work on a throwaway Creed reunion album.



that being said i don't hate this album. it's fine, there's just nothing really to come back to.

my own prison was dark and gritty and grungy and expunged a lot of real emotion, but i think this is indeed where they came full circle and produced an album more challenging and artistic that for some might feel at odds with their older more commercialized sound

This album is probably their best from a pure songwriting perspective. It's way more consistent than Weathered while also not being monotone. The vocal hooks hit and the guitar arrangement is top notch. Never understood why this didn't hit better with most people.

A Thousand Faces is a solid track. This is better than Weathered, but that ain’t saying much.

Weathered is incredibly uneven but it has some undeniable bangers. Bullets and Who's Got My Back feels like what Alter Bridge would eventually become, in the best way. One Last Breath and My Sacrifice sometimes get a bad rap but to me they are peak divorced dad rock power ballads.



This is pretty decent too though. A Thousand Faces is the obvious highlight for me but Time is also massively overlooked imo.
