WashboardSuds - 'Boys Don't Cry' (album, not just the song) features the best stuff off this as well as their early singles (including the title track). Essentially, it trims away any weaker moments present here, and replaces them with stronger ones, making for a better listen, on the whole. So i'd go for 'Boys Don't Cry' if you want to check out this phase of The Cure's work.

MrGunslinger - Yeah, i really like it too. I was intrigued when i first saw it, and it drew me to the album. I suppose that's what you want from album art - to draw in the listener and to have some artistic relevance to the music, itslef.

I should look into this, i'm only aware of the first track since one of my favourite bands covered it.
