I can't understand why such music is so highly regarded, I mean this is honestly one of the worst albums I've ever bought.

It would be nice if you would explain why this music is so horrible.

Musically, they're repetitive as hell with annoying noises littered throughout their songs. The vocals that chant random things that you can't understand are quite agitating too. This is just too spazzy for me. Maybe they're supposed to grow on you but so far, I don't see anything appealing about this stuff. I'd like to note, that I consider myself an extremly open minded music fan and I actualy do give things multiple chances but so far this just isn't my thing. This Message Edited On 08.04.06

I love the chorus to Once in a Lifetime. I don't predict this to become one of my favorite albums, but it's a cool, catchy and fun album to listen to.

This album is horrible.[/quote]

You're literally the only person that I've ever seen say that. Not saying that makes you objectively wrong or anything, but your comment just made me think that this was probably one of the most un-criticised popular albums that I've heard of. And then you came along. If you've given it a chance then fair enough though, I guess.

Cross-Eyed and Painless is great too. Adrian Belew is a god at guitarz, and Byrne does a funny little dance. This Message Edited On 05.07.07

I've taken casual listens to this, but I'll look out for the Brian Eno influences in it next time, seeing that he's a genius.

A highlight of the 80's, but for me personally it lacks in some places.
