that may be it... there are a lot of instances on this album where I think the vocal production was handled poorly, I think that's more my issue than just Phil's performance itself.

Well, his vocals do sound poor on a lot of the album (Hold On, Faithless. etc.) but he does have a decent voice. I like his voice on The Waiting One in particular.

Yea, I agree, I very much enjoyed him on The Fall of Ideals. I think the issue here has a lot to do with production.
