A few things.
First, I don't think you gave nearly enough support for a 5, especially an unorthodox choice like this one. You need to elaborate on the sound and also explain why it's a classic, either for you personally, for the genre (which is what you seemed to be going for in the beginning), or for its influence on music (which obviously this does not have).
Second, you can't really say "It adds a shred of predictability" or anything else negative unless you fully justify why this is essentially perfect (or close to it) in spite of this negative trait. Otherwise 4.5 it.
Third, don't bother spending time refuting claims other people make. The second to last paragraph is wholly unnecessary; if you want to keep it, you should simply explain the emotion of the album, with maybe one sentence of backdrop about how people complain about the lack of emotion or whatever, followed by you refuting this.
Also, watch first person. It can be effective if used correctly, but in this case (especially in a 5 review) you seem fanboyish.
This sentence needs to be fixed, too:
"He can quench thy thirst"
Thy is an antiquated term for singular second person possessive (i.e., your), whilst "he" is third person. I'd recommend changing "thy" to make it parallel, as you want to avoid second person in any professional writing anyways. (There were a few other awkward places you want to fix).

Those ascii houses are pretty awesome
| | | 5's are almost always a personal crusade around here. Not that there's anything wrong with that. A 3.1 average over almost 900 user reviews is probably a more accurate reflection though.

Nah, Green is better than a 3.1. It got a lot of pointless hate that people don't really know how to back up other than ITZ NOT PINKERTON GUYS. Now, eventually Weezer jumped off the deep end with Make Believe, Red, and Raditude but this is not that bad. Good review, too. There's always one inevitable douchebag who feels the need to neg good reviews by new guys.

I dunno, I think this is pretty inferior to Make Believe and Raditude (and Red, to an extent, though I could definitely see the argument that that one's the worst). There are 10 good, solid songs on here, but really, aside from Hash Pipe and Island in the Sun, they all have the exact same sound. Don't get me wrong, this is a great pop album, but it severely lacks variety.

Are you, seriously, no joking, trying to tell me that Make Believe and Raditude are better than this?! HAHAHAHAHA. CAN'T STOP PARTYIN

Pretty much. I love Make Believe and Raditude actually.

pretty boring album, like everything post-pinkerton

The review is decent, but doesn't read like a 5. If I didn't see the score, I would guess maybe a 3.5 or a 4. This album is painfully average. For a lesser band, this might fly, but for a band that proved their skills and uniqueness with Blue and Pinkerton, this is rather pathetic and pedestrian.

Solid review, but this does not read like a 5. But on the other hand, you stayed away from writing nonstop hyperbole, something I really hate to see from magazines and websites who give high ratings to albums that don't deserve it. You kept the praise simple.
I like this album but I really did not like the decision to shy away from showing some heart on their sleeves. It didn't need to be at Pinkerton levels, but The Blue Album had a careful balance of catchy powerpop songs ("My Name is Jonas", "Surf Wax America", "Buddy Holly") and songs that had emotional brevity but it made such a strong impact on the listener ("Only in Dreams", "Say It Ain't So", "The World has Turned and Left Me Here"). To me, Pinkerton and Green both had a lack of variety in that both took the duality of the Blue Album to far extremes but it doesn't work out as well on the Green Album.
Anyway, pos'd.
