I love the vocals. This band sounds like Minus The Bear and Taking Back Sunday's naughty lovechild, and I couldn't be more excited about it. Also, hailing from Philly never hurt them in my eyes.

i can see why you might say that. but if you've listened to any cap'n jazz you'd see they really draw directly from that sound, and to a certain degree american football. minus the bear just gets some of their influence in the same place.

cap'n jazz has shmap'n shmazz/their discography compilation as far as i know
this fucking rules. i've had it for forever but ignored it up until now.

they have a few albums but i think if you get the analphabetapwhatever you'll have what's important. i personally like algernon and snowing etc. just as much as cap'n jazz but its worth remembering they definitely did the whole twinkly fun emo thing way before the bands that are popular now.
