saying LOL THIS MUSIC IS FOR FAGGOTS isn't really that funny either

and if you're going to review and album, listening to it and sorting out bias is always helpful otherwise it's just going to be a few paragraphs of you bitching about how you don't like the band

In fairness, I did write it in ten minutes. But yeah, it flat out sucked. I'll stick to writing regular boring reviews, instead of shit joke ones

Worst album cover I've seen in a while. Kerrang gave this album a 4 which pisses me off so much but then again what can you expect from a magazine who's reader base is made up mostly of teenage girls who orgasm over scene bands and anything polished and over produced. God and they had so much potential.

I'm gonna check this out out of mere curiousity. My best friend loves them..so, yeah, I have a sense of duty.

Kerrang! always overrates albums. I think they gave Bullet For My Valentine's Fever a five.

Her (You should have guessed tbh).

"Kerrang! always overrates albums. I think they gave Bullet For My Valentine's Fever a five."
Yeah they did. It's not that they overrate albums really though, their ratings are just all over the place. They give Arch Enemy's and In Flames' new albums 4/5 but Children of Bodom's a 2/5. These are all tired melodeath albums (maybe not SOAPG but still) by washed up melodeath bands but for some reason they only recognise this in CoB's.

And they gave Wasting Light a 3/5 based on it being 'predictable' and 'ordinary'. I don't even like that album but those aren't pretty good reasons for why it isn't as great as most people think.

It's odd though cos their end of year critics' top 20 list is actually pretty good. Deftones got the #1 spot last year (even though they only got given a 4/5 by the magazine) and Gallows before that.

Unexpected, but nonetheless, it gives the magazine for some credit for recognizing Diamond Eyes.

I personally like all those bands, but none of their respective albums that you mentioned deserve a four. The two point five rating for CoB is credible.

Also Deviant, she also likes stuff like Converge and Glassjaw so it evens itself out somewhat.

Guilty pleasures. Everyone's got them. "Knives and Pens" was a fun track, though.

Nah. I heard that song 1 1/2 years ago. I thought it sucked and I still do.
I didn't think that band would get anywhere.

The world is so unjust...
