Yeah Pepetition of Phrases is great, but I personally prefer Empty Bliss. What intrigued me to The Caretaker in the first place was the whole Shining ballroom sound, and this album completely embodies that.

i dont rate stuff on here but it's at least a very high 4. some tracks are maybe just a little slight/weird but that's only in comparison to the amazing ones

"Mental Caverns Without Sunshine", broken up by the interlude "Pared Back to The Minimal," is one of my favorite sequences on the record. So beautiful and sad.

ya this is the first time I have really liked an ambient album in a long long time.

the whole "I don't know how much he actually does" argument is a guess valid but idgaf.

That's the reason a lot of people either dismiss this album or stay away from it, which is a real

shame. The same could be said for The Disintegration Loops, as they are just loops after all. Though

it doesn't matter how much he really did to these songs, what matters is he had the insight to do it.

Sometimes the music comes before the artist.

libet's delay and relationship with the sublime and all you are going to want to do and camaraderie and disappointingly elusive AGH all so good
