I've heard some of slipknots live stuff and it didn't make me want to hear anything more of it. Lets leave it at that. This Message Edited On 12.12.05

Don't you like their music or how they sound live?
|

wikuk, you have to realise that people have to actually feel the feelings expressed in Slipknot's self-tilted to appreciate it at all, caus eit really is no music breakthrough, but it's one of my favorite albums.

I'm sorry, but i don't understand what you are trying to say. can you please repeat it but in an easier way?
|

Umm... you have to have felt the emotions Corey Taylor expresses in the songs on their s/t to appreciate it, otherwise people will hate it.

u might want to fix a few small things on your review to make it better...like:
it makes little childs stay away from it while older people are attracted to it.
no such thing as "childs" use "children"
and
however the first 2 video's sucks (Spit It Out and Wait and Bleed)
it should be "however the first 2 videos suck (Spit It Out and Wait and Bleed)

slipknot videos are not that great. agreed. of course i have a little pet peave. watching singers in music videos sing without a microphone. so stupid. and you know it has to be awkward to scream at a camera.
the dvd is cool if you're into slipknot. the multi-camera angle feature is sort of stupid. setlist is good.
playing new abortion = lame. dumb song.

I listen to this quite a lot, they aren't exactly the most amazing artists but they know how to put up a show

This is a great DVD. The setlist is great, and the shows they played during the Iowa era were the best imo. Corey's vocals were so great on the shows during the 2001-2002 tour.

I love the song Spit It Out (The mixing is incredible). The rest of the songs are meh to me -_-

Finally got around to watch this and holy fuck is everyone on top of their game for this performance. I think Iowa is their worst album, but the live versions of the songs on this are incredible, and the way the instruments are recorded live really accentuates the technicality of it all that I hadn't even realised when listening to the studio version. Plus, Corey is such a killer showman to the audience.
