I only have Bowie's platinum collection, Best Of (they do have some pretty different tracks, and I didn't pay for the platinum collection, it was a present so I'm not complaining, especially since it has 3 discs!) and I'm wondering where to start with actual albums. I doubt I'll start here, probably Diamond Dogs but this is gonna be one of my first few. You're review has persuaded me, it was really good!

This is his best, although I've only heard this, Ziggy Stardust and Hunky Dory to be fair, he's got such a massive back catalouge I can't be bothered to listen to all of it. The first half is a lot better, I dunno why he didn't mix up the tyes of songs better as the only fault is it's easy to turn off after the catchier songs.

This album is just inches behind Hunky Dory as my favorite Bowie record. Love this album; love Bowie. The man's a dear.

warszawa and art decade always remind me of blade runner for some reason...Also, the cover is probably my favorite album cover of all time.

Dunno why this gets so little attention here. I think alot of people on this site would appreciate the second half of this album in particular.

Same with stuff like Joni Mitchell's 'Blue'. Totally unrelated to this, but great album and similiar to what people here are digging.

Very close to a 5 rating.

Such a damn good album. Such an important album. Such groundbreaking album. And still the music is so good.

Outstanding tunes: Sound and Vision, Always Crashing in the Same Car, Warszawa og Subterraneans.

Very, very good tunes: Breaking Glass, What in the World, Be My Wife og Weeping Wall
