"Adam has stated numerous times in interviews and videos and posts on blogs/Twitter/Facebook that he has put a lot of hard work into the making of this album."

He wrote and recorded most of the record in his new house, unlike his other 2 albums and EP, which were written in his parents' basement.
Shocker

Was he actually in a relationship with Taylor? Or did he just have a rapport with her?
Because if it's the former someone get me a motherfucking Yamaha.

You know, I do like this guy's album covers.
It's also fun how you can copy/paste his vocals over any song he has done, and hardly hear a difference.

While on the topic of one of his upcoming songs, "The Honey and the Bee", he commented, saying, "The message of this song is about these two individuals who are at a dead place in both of their lives and are feeling, just, rather lonely and they meet each other and... sparks happen. It's just kind of a cute song. It's kind of a little sparkle."
someone should, like, push this fag in front of a moving train. that would be nice.

Let me start of by saying I am hugely against illegal downloads. I expect most people on this site are as well.

I think you guys are passionate in the way you critique the mainstream media. In fact, I'm heavily considering giving this a 2.5 for its mediocrity. Despite these comments, the truth is that this album neither succeeds or fails at being desperately overdone or to over the top. Naturally, the heavy complaints over his soapy songwriting and his use of constant techno beats are overdramatic statements at best.
I agree, "Alligator Sky" is a corny song title (and a bad rap duo) but I think many are missing the point of his music. The main influences coming from Young are: Indie, Electropop rock, folk, rap and synth. All of these are clearly shown throughout this album. The main influence, not mentioned, is DREAM POP. His imagination is skies the limit and his message doesn't need to make much sense. I'm just as arrogant as the next about badly written songs and choosing to ignore these bands who sound like premature attitudes mean nothing. But Adam Young is only expressing his passion of his dream-like desires in the most innocent fashion. Maybe "moody" atmosphere isn't what Young is capturing, but joyous appraisal is his view. He loves to dream, it shows. Also, I've never met so passionate enough to write so much on each song. He really gets into the writing despite how terrible or how moderate it is.
The negative feedback I've read so far is a bit melodramatic. If you want to write a bad review, write about ATL's Dirty Work (that shit sucked for multiple reasons that I don't have the energy to mention). Now, I don't want a RAVE review from a devoted fan or a fan of this type of genre, I want a real review from a reviewer who knows where I'm getting at from this soundoff.
