Will do in time. I'm going to check out FullBlackHabit today. Richard Patrick is a good reference. I think the vocals/lyrics in 16Volt aren't spectacular, but they just fit the music very well.

Oh, you haven't actually heard Wisdom? I was just mentioning that one to show how much these guys have progressed with every album. You should definitely hear it, though.

Hmm...I do agree that this album is a bit hit-and-miss. I thought the album did pick up some steam towards the end though with "The Carrion" and "Veins." Though the band was known more for atmosphere than lyrical content, the lyrics here...meh. The sound was top notch, but I felt the lyrics were a step back (excluding "Burn" which was a personal song for Powell). Not a great album, but definitely not bad either.
