I finally picked this up, I'm very impressed. They really did mature musically since Ecliptica, but that will always remain my favorite album by them. Something about it's cheesiness and catchiness. But I'm really digging this right now, awesome album!

White Pearl, Black Oceans is by far the best song I've listened to in a very long time. Such amazing musicianship accompanied by incredible lyrics. Just had to say it

Wow, this is pretty damn awesome, and im only half way through my first listen of the album!

This reminds me a lot of "A Twist in the Myth," and i'm having a similar reaction to it as I did to ATITM.

I like A Twist in the Myth a bit more than this.

I can't stop listening to this, it's so awesome. "Aint Your Fairytale" is my personal favorite currently, but I love every song. The only one that doesnt particularly stand out too me is "The Boy Who Wanted to Be a Real Puppet" (though I love the lyrics)

If the rest of their albums are this good, they may take Blind Guardian's spot as my favorite power metal band. I ordered Ecliptica, should come by Wednesday...can't wait.

Oh my god...

''White Pearl, Black Oceans'' is such an epic track.

Unbelievingly beautiful. Will probably become one of my all-time favorites.

This is surely their best album at this moment, followed by WH.This Message Edited On 12.19.08

Yeah, White Pearls black Oceans is their best song.

Ecliptica is their best album though, then this, then Silence, then Winterheart, then Unia.

Ecliptica is easily their best album. Not a big fan of these guys much anymore.

The only songs I really like on here are Shamandalie and Ain't your Fairytale. They're pretty much incredible though.

what the hell is wrong with this band? They make 3 great albums....find their own style on the 4th that really kicks ass, then just completely abandon it? what fags...

I will always keep coming back to this album. Don't Say A Word is such an angry song, and the little 'pirate-esque' choir part in Wildfire makes me smile every time.
