British speaking ftw.
This statement was brought to you by a pure francophone who still has some problems to deal with English (I can live with it so far)

Yesss! My only gripe is Chance Meeting that sounds promising with only vocals and piano, but I feel that Eno is abusing with his guitar sounding effects while in interplay with a real electric guitar. The latter could have been sufficient. I also feel the track is under developed.
Other than that, the random drumming in Sea Breezes is embarassing, it almost ruins the song that could do without a single drum's note.
Nearly perfect album.

Jethro, only 2 comments between your 2011 comment in this thread and your 2016 comment!
I like the guitar in Chance Meeting, but I think I see what you are getting at. It would be like Queen's Lily Of The Valley or Bowie's Lady Grinning Soul with just the piano.

Yes I noticed it when I saw your comment ''Ladytron still rules''. It seems that Roxy Music threads are not frequented very much, despite the amount of votes. You bring it back to life, but for how long...The bumps are not that effective when there are not many users comments in a thread.
As for Chance Meeting, I'd swear to hear some Eno noises merged with electric guitar. I may be wrong. Song is ok as it is I guess. Also, great songs picks you gave as examples...
