Holy crap! I just heard Left For Dead, and Salvation. This album seems great from the three songs I've heard.

Salvation is by far Chimaira's best song. IMO, so is Everything You Love, Lazarus, and Nothing Remains on this album.

I read on a sticker on this CD that Revolver gave this album a 5 star rating. Is it really that good?

I dont' know. Revolver likes to praise whatever's hot. When Take A Look In The Mirror and See You On The Other Side came out, they did interviews with Jonathan Davis. Revolver said very good things about both albums in the articles, which is funny because they are 2 of the worst cd's I can think of.

Well I guess you have a good point there. They also said that Mudvayne's Lost and Found was going to be great and I was dissapointed with that album.

Aesthetically I think Lost And Found is good. It has a very stipped, live, clean sound. Mudvayne has moved on in their songwriting skills, and Chad is a better singer than he used to be. Still, the songs just don't work like they used to.

This CD is one of Revolver's more accurate ratings. Note though that Revolver takes on a majority opinion, so unless you are a person that likes to go with the people, you won't always agree with them.

P.S. in interviews, Revolver really suck up to the artist, like in their interview with P.O.D., they were like "Oh, this sounds promising, your best yet pehaps?" then they rated it a 2.

This is an amazing album. IMO "Salvation" is a bit over-rated. I think "Save Ourselves" is the best track. Kevin Talley's drumming is KICK ASS!!!!! The guitarist guy has some pretty cool solos to.

Yeah, I think Rob Arnold does the solos. The first four tracks are all classic five out of fives for me. This album is superb.

I could have this at a 5 because of the amount of amazing riffs contained on here.

This is by far my favourite Chimaira album.

It's more technical than anything else they've released and Kevin Talley's drums are great.

Its a shame they probably won't go down this route again because they said something along the lines of "it was not really a Chimaira album and they thought about it too much and tried to make it perfect"

Which they pretty much did, but don't want to do again. This Message Edited On 09.26.08
