I really love almost every song on the album, and when you know that Yoshimi pt. 2 is the sounds of the battle even that song becomes pretty good.
I would have given many more 5s than you, but it's still a good review.

The Soft Bulletin is terrible IMO. This is an excellent record however, if conceptually moreso than musically.

I LOVE this album. One More Robot is almost a perfect song, it just needs to be longer.
I like this album now.
Scratch that. I dislike this band more and more each time I listen to them. I don't really know why, I just completely lost interest.
Flaming Lips - t3H sUx.

Hit To Death In The Future Head

I have 3 Flaming Lips albums now, and I think this one is easily the best. The least best is Soft Bulletin (it's still pretty good though), and Clouds Taste Metallic goes in the middle.

Great review. This is one of my favorite albums. The only thing I wouls say is that Ego Tripping should have been 5/5. But that's only a mimor complaint.

Great album! Very progressive. I saw them about a year and a half ago on this tour. Amazing energy. Satellite, Futurehead, Clouds taste Metallic all good too.

I'd love to see Clouds Taste Metallic, reviewed...I'm too lazy to do so...I've already reviewed two Flips-records dammit.
Soft Bulletin is my favorite record that I own...don't care what anyone says...haw. But Yoshimi introduced me to this wonderful band...it's just too bad there isn't enough of those signature Lips Heavy-deavy-Drozd-drums...that's another big abscence. That made the Lips only more and more unique...and Drozd is the reason the Lips took it to a new level with Transmissions.
And even further with Clouds Taste Metallic. Brainville is a cool lil' tune...especially when that light backing vocal comes in *must resist urge NOT to review CTM*. Come on, review this wonderful record someone, anyone. How can you not wanna rave about songs like Placebo Headwound?

Great review. This album got me into the Lips as well, which I'm very thankful for. One of my favorite alternative groups around today.

ive only heard the title track and one more robot. one more robot BLOWS my mind! i cant beleive how great that song is..

I'll do it after I buy it, which will be in the next few days, along with Hit To Death...
I'll do that one as well, if no one else wants to.

OrbDragon, how can you give 4,8/5 to an album, if you gave 5/5 to only 2 songs?
Great album, but The Soft Bulletin is much better. This Message Edited On 01.23.06
