Prey good after 2 listens. This is better than the new The Color Morale, but my attention span for the whole genre is starting to shrink dramatically these days.

the victim slays for days. rest of the album is like that song but not as good. save for burden, which is a pretty cool interlude

"However, The Color Morale and Dance Gavin Dance come out on top for best post-hardcore albums so far this year."
they're not gonna stay on top for long. new A Lot Like Birds and Trophy Scars are in the making.

after listening to this about three times all the way through i can say it's one of the best "scene-style" metalcore albums i've heard in awhile. It's really catchy and fun to listen to

i'm pretty surprised at how much i enjoyed this album, especially after they dropped the whole southern thing which is really why i ever got into them in the first place.
definitely agree about them being one of the better "scene" type post-hardcore bands. on this album, they sound like a better version of woe, is me in my opinion. anyone else get that kind of vibe?

Plus the Word Alive new shit will most likely drop as well.

Is this really that good? From what I heard it's pretty generic compared to the sleepwalking which I enjoyed.
"new A Lot Like Birds and Trophy Scars are in the making"
New ALLB with Kurt Travis is going to rule so hard.

Yeah, that's exactly how I'd describe this to someone who is familiar with the sound of Woe Is Me, but not Memphis May Fire.

Matty's cleans actually do sound a lot like the singer from Woe, Is Me on the songs I have heard.

The Sinner is by far the best track on the album. However, the interlude is the cat's tits.

This is as good as it gets in this genre, thus why I gave it a 5. The choruses are legendary.
