I'm thinking of reviewing both of their cd's, but I'm not sure yet.

Manic Street Preachers played there bout a decade ago.
That is all.
The Manics are Welsh, playing in Cuba isn't quite as frowned upon there as in the US. Also the Manics are like 88080808 times better than Audioslave.
plus the manics are communists, so they felt at home with them Cubans

Yeah, but I should say good job to you to Zebra cause you made it in the Top 15 after joining about three months ago.

whenever I get more than 6 votes, some random idiot negs :upset: ah well whatever
good review too, I saw this whole thing on TV a while ago, Chris sounded pretty bad, and the band wasn't very energetic.

I havent been negged that many times. My first few terrible reviews were negged, and when I tried to not do a track by track for the first time, it got a neg, but So far, I've had good luck.
And Im still trying to get into the top 15! I've been writing reviews at least 2-3 times a week for 3 months almost and I'm at 21! Gar! It's definitely very difficult, though i dont know how the site decide who goes where. Zebra has 40 reviews and hes 15, but ive seen other people with less with higher spots. This Message Edited On 11.19.05

The mods don't decide the ranking. Where'd you get that idea?
|

If the mods dont, what does?

The thing is worked out by itself.

Gah I'm insulted! I dont write to just rise in ranking, or what not, I write because I damn well feel like it. I merely pointed out a fact that I saw.
Thanks for the explanation though, it was helpful.

He's right though, no one should really care about the rankings. It's okay if you care as long as you don't make any kind of deal about it on the site. In fact, never talk about you're ranking again you selfish antagonist. JK on the last part ;)

Chris does have an amazing voice, I have seen Audioslave on their Out of Exile tour and it was one of the top 5 live show I have ever seen. This DVD just happened to capture Chris when his vocals wern't in top form, but for a good reason. Have you ever been to both Seattle and Cuba? In terms of climate they are almost polar opposits. Setattle is cold and rainy (The rain keeps pollen down so it doesn't effect people with alleregies, like Chris) Cuba on the other hand is hot and humid (And even more so durring the summer, when this concert was tapped). Now when some one who grew up in Seattle goes to Cuba to sing for the first time what do you think the humidity, heat and abundant pollen do to that persons volcal chords? What happens isn't pretty as we can see on the DVD. Outside of this performance, Chris has a stellar voice.
