BEST SONG IS ATMOSPHERE, ACTUALLY

Their most underrated song by far.

Ties how can you like those songs I'm very disappointed

You cut me deep, man. Breaking Inside used to be one of my favorite songs ever. This calls for a ranked list to fix your blasphemous ranking of this album.

@ties: did you hear the version of breaking inside with lzzy?

Yep, and it's great but it doesn't touch the original.

My version of this has 14 songs, one of the extra ones is one of the best songs on it for me (I Own You)

Alright, Sowing, you aren't going to agree at all, but here's my ranking:

11: Cyanide Sweet Tooth Suicide: One of the best musically and definitely rocks hard, but the lyrics are just too cringe-worthy, especially the forced profanity in the second verse. 5/10

10: Devour: Used to be a favorite for me, but over time this just looks more and more like a rocker without much substance. Strong musically, but too repetitive. 5.5/10

9: Cry For Help: Similar to Devour, but better because it's less repetitive. If the solo was better I'd bump it up another point. 6/10

8: The Crow and the Butterfly: WHAT? TOO LOW! I like it but not as much as everyone else. That said, it's still well-composed and the piano is nice. The solo is great too. Just doesn't have that extra "oomph" to make it amazing for me. Still pretty great though. 7.5/10

7: Second Chance: Overplayed but has retained most of its value over time. It's not my favorite but there is little I can say negative about it. 8/10

6: Sound of Madness: Yep, this is probably "too low" as well. Although this is the second best rock track for me, it has also lost a little of its charm. It still rules though, and that riff is still awesome. 8/10

5: Call Me: Excellent closer. The piano melody is simply fantastic, and Brent's vocals are fantastic here. 8.5/10

4: Breaking Inside: Used to be my favorite, but has dropped a little. That said, this song is still an epic ballad and NOT a Nickelback ripoff, and that guitar solo is just perfect. 9/10

3: Sin With a Grin: Best rock track on the album, period. From the opening riff this rocks hard from start to finish, and unlike the other rockers on the album, has not grown off me one bit. 9.5/10

2: If You Only Knew: The most pleasant song they've ever recorded, and this one has recently grown on me so much. That chorus is magnificent, and the guitar is excellent in this song. 10/10

1: What A Shame: My favorite. Brent's vocals are awesome throughout the song, especially at the end, and the emotion in this song is what makes it so good. 10/10

"What A Shame" is an excellent track, it's been so long since I've revisited this.

Thought I was gonna get my (avatar's) head ripped off for 8 so low. But the Jim/Pam romance overcomes all obstacles.

I had to de-5 this though. It hasn't been one for a while for me. I prefer the rockers on Us and Them.
