Interestingly enough, I think this album is slightly underrated. A lot of Wilson fans will probably dislike the fact that most of this was written by Geffen anyway, but 'Welcome...' doesn't open too well. 'Glass House' and 'Go to Hell' are so damn uninspired and bland, that they remain some of Wilson's weakest moments, whereas the highlighted piano flourishes of 'Dissolving with the Night' and intension of 'Blood' keep the fresh and exciting sounds that have also stayed with Blackfield intact. I like this album, though the first two albums are hard to surpass in my opinion, as far as musical quality is concerned.

Loving the string arrangements on this, especially with Glass House and Rising of the Tide.

Do you think Steve regrets not calling this one Blackfield III?
Definitely a combo-breaker when you look at their album page.

Oxygen is great. Go To Hell is the worst one here by far.
