This is a very average album. But I reckon people are negging your review just because of your rating. There are lots of things you need to work on, such as spelling and grammar, but for a first review it was pretty good. So pos'd

Thanks for the feedback, i was a little nervous writing my first review on this website, if merely because i know the criticisim can be very very harsh. i'll clean it up when i find the time. happy easter!

was this one of the first metal albums you heard or something?
not patronizing or anything it's just that this is pretty stale compared to their early stuff

"was this one of the first metal albums you heard or something?"
Yes, it was one of my first metal albums ever. I hate everything they released after this album so it is probably just nostalgia, but this never gets old.

The Mirror's Truth was my first IF song, actually (heard it through Music Choice). This doesn't offer the band's best material, though it contains overall swell tracks. Out of preference, I like Soundtrack to Your Escape a bit more, though; Come Clarity and Whoracle undoubtedly top that.
