I've only listened to Marrow twice. I was basically thinking Crysis' review when I listened to it the first time, but the second time I listened to it I liked it a lot more.

This is one of the greatest ep's of all time. Although it's so long, I think of it more as Agalloch's acoustic album.

*I don't really see why people like Ashes Against the Grain so much.

Because it's an amazing album.

It pops up on ebay pretty frequently. It was limited to 2000 copies in its original press and was "re-released", so to speak, on vinyl with the Grey EP. That was limited to 500 copies (if I recall) and was only sold on their latest tour.

Yep, i got it on vinyl with Whitedivisiongrey from their tour. Have fun getting that one though, scalpers are already trying to fuck people over on ebay.

Thanks Crysis, guess I'll have to keep checking ebay more often.

R6, you'd get a better deal if you went with the CD pressing of this and not the vinyl that contained The Grey alongside this, because as Hyperion said, people are charging way too much for what you get. The Grey EP isn't even that good, so paying an extra $100 is not worth it.

Hating on Ulver's diversity...not hating on Agalloch. Too far...too far...

It's been a favorite for a long time. And the way this review minimally connects with Ashes and Marrow, I might have to crank something out for those as well.

The Ulver soundoff I wrote was a joke. I can appreciate both sides of their sound.

The only plus to getting the vinyl is the addition of the Grey EP and the several unreleased bonus tracks. But they're pretty cool.
