Okay the specific, painfully obvious rip is on "Giving Up" from 1:50 to 2:02. Notice the whole first verse of "Victims of Mathematics," the break down at 1:34 on "The Worst Lies Are Told in Silence" the section that last for a while starting on 0:46 on "Stolen Bikes Ride Faster" (also the end breakdown of that song is lifted on "Smashed to Pieces" now that I notice it) and that's only from a 5 minute run through one Grade CD. Silverstein are copycats and cheaters and I wish more people would listen to Grade.

Well, if you had given me a song or two from them when I gave you my e-mail so long ago, then maybe there would be one more person listening to Grade.

dfelon, why do you insist on accusing silverstein of stealing from Grade all over this album when KYLE BISHOP did guest vocals on it. notice the emphasis on kyle bishop, a member of grade, or atleast an ex member, i dont know much about grade, but why would mr. bishop allow silverstein to derivitively rip-off songs from his old band? i think he would notice, and press charges for any kind of plagerism that alledgedly occurs.

good review, i love silverstien its kinda like that music that makes me want to just around and go savage with my bass, like taking back sunday. i dono but its got that catchy thing to it. i just saw them live along with thursday and a bunch of other bands. it was pretty deadly and i got a signed CD. i havent really hurd much of thier old album but i think ill buy. silverstein is an awsome band and ther Canadian.

I'm pretty sure aimlow just nailed it. And DFelon, instead of going on a tirade about how silverstein "ripped off" of Grade, suggest them as further listening. Because honestly, no one cares about how much you know about music other than yourself.

If you don't care then why'd you bother responding? Obviously it effected you somehow. And p.s., the reason I spent so much time ripping into them is because labonza spend a bit of time challenging the subject. Also, you're hella h4x when ur that s3r10us.

Oh ya also, this is a music commuity website. The point is to argue about trivial stuff like this, not just suggest a band as further listening.

Everyone knows silverstein isnt any new but these guys do a great job. This album is great from start to last. I got alot of guys on my university res floor who listen to like green day (Not anymore....they grew up quick in that one year) and this was one of the albums they all ate up.
P.S one of the only good victory records acts along with Between the buried and me.
