The newest one, Sonic Colors, looks pretty cool to be honest, and it received positive feedback from critics, so perhaps that one's worth looking into, but I'm with you 100% on that shadow game, total shit.

Sonic Colors is amazing. I definetly recommend it to any Sonic fan.

Shadow the Hedgehog was actually quite fun to me. Don't see why theres alot of hate towards it. Yeah it wasn't perfect, but it wasn't a total shit-fest either.

It wasn't just that they gave him a gun, they gave him some pretty shitty controlling while you had the guns out, overall, it was pretty annoying and a turn in the wrong direction for that series. And can I say why did they have vehicles if they can run faster than them???

FOR ACCESSIBILITY OBVIOUSLY! No but seriously, that's a good point, the vehicles are 100% useless. It's probably the most gimmicky Sonic game in the series tbh, but I still think Sonic Heroes is the worst overall.

Yeah haha. Although I did forget that in Sonic Adventure 2 there were the kart races...although those were actually pretty fun because of how goofy everything controlled, especially drifting (car turns but you keep going straight for some reason)

Yeah, those were actually enjoyable to ride, and the robot suits used near the end were essential to get Tails through the levels. At least they had their purpose. Shadow's game was just trying so hard to be something that it's not, which is a shame because he was actually a really interesting character, or so I thought. I might pick up the new one though, it looks like a return to form.

im sure the end of shadow's game was you find out he was part of the hedgehog mafia, which is why he was inclined to use weapons and vehicles throughout that game.

Yeah, I think it's colors... it's the newest for the Wii. I don't remember the end of Shadow's game, but I think I blocked it out for a reason, so you're probably right.

I personally really liked Sonic Heroes though. Well, it was one of the 1st games I ever played, so maybe it's just blind nostalgia.
