THis is probably the best movie of his I've seen. It doesn't make me want to kill myself like the Life Acquatic with Steve Zizzo or whatever the fuck its called does.

Well he's more of a genius than we are. All of his movies are at minimum good.
I love all of these:

The Royal Tenenbaums were all co-written with Owen Wilson
and
The Darjeeling Limited was co written by Roman Coppola and Jason Schwartzman
So the first three alone are all very similar in writing style and feel.

I've never seen Life Aquatic... probably won't based on what I've heard.
TRT is my favorite (probably favorite movie of all-time, too)

No one seems to understands The Life Aquatic because of how over the top and nonsensical it can be. I'm pretty sure it's Anderson's version of a superhero movie and I think it works great in that context.
Regardless, this is an incredible film and soundtrack. Great review.
