Alright you wanted me to talk about the review so I will.
This review is okay, could be better with some editing. I'm not going to comb through the whole thing but:
the familiar, but serious, drum progression
You don't need either of those commas
Just don't expect them to true be the King.
*truly
Also you wrote using a lot of first person, which is fine if you do it correctly, but talking about how much you liked or didn't like the Decemberists before this album doesn't add anything to the review. You support too many of your points by saying "I think" first which makes them sound weak and subject to your opinion, which based on some of the things you are saying (like that this is their most ambitious work) isn't very credible. Also, the summary isn't clever or anything. Actually it is just bad.
But overall it isn't written horribly, I mean structuraly it is decent, I didn't neg or anything. Most of my beef with this review comes from what you are saying anyway, not how you are saying it. Like Hazards of Love was way more ambitious than this. Also you said you didn't like the album because it isn't indie, it is country. That might be one of the silliest things I have ever read. I think I know what you meant (that you don't like the country sound, and wish that they stuck with their trademark sound) but you might wanna consider rewording a lot of the things you've said.
I dunno not trying to be a dick, I hope you take this constructively. For what it's worth I agree that this is one of their best albums.

2 staff and 3 contributor reviews seems a bit overkill for this album.

I'm not mad at people who are criticizing me. Far from it, I enjoy criticism.
And I understand the ambitious statement really hit it off. I'll try and fix a statement later. I'm just pissed that everybody's bitching to eachother for no reason (this goes out to Sonic the plumber and Knott)

Sowing Season:
Thank you very much for the excellent review of my... well, review.
I'll remember that when I review more later.

Knott is cool, Sonic can be annoying but I feel like deep down he is probably pretty intelligent just really immature.
Don't worry it will die down in time.

Yeah, Sonic's one of the best reviewers I've ever seen, though. So props for that.
Dude, you're in the Top 20 reviewers. Great job.

Sonic's one of the best reviewers I've ever seen
You have much to learn, haha. Anyway sorry if my critique came off as harsh I certainly didn't mean it that way, just keep writing reviews and you'll get better. That's how it works for everyone; very few people just show up and blow everyone away with a writing masterpiece.
