Your summary is pretty much opposite with my feelings. In the sense i liked Linkin Park's progression and would have been bored if they stayed the same.



That being said I heard the single and was bored to death by it. It sounded good but it was stubbornly similar to their debut that I was a bit annoyed.



I'll probably get around listening to this, nice review. I'll probably agree with you except with a 2.5ish if the single gives any indication how the entire album is.

Who knows botb, you may still love them. Definitely worth a listen.



All valid points Alex & I'm sure that this album will receive similar feedback from many. I guess that's the point I was trying to make about those breaking up. The other thing you have to take into account is that you are probably in the minority regarding Linkin Park's newer music. But yeah, if you didn't like the lead single off this album, then you are going to struggle with the LP as a whole.
