Considering half of the people in this thread think one is by far the better and the other half think the other is the far better but the albums are ranked equally I'm pretty sure it would not be unacceptable for someone to feel that the are pretty balanced.
I like In Utero better but have more attachment to Nevermind. I like them equally for different reasons. Feel free to tell me what my opinion should be though.

lol. I argue about this all the time. I think most of the people here like In Utero better simply because it's less polished and commercial, which IMO is a retarded reason to like something more, especially when the "commercial" album in question is a trendsetting masterpiece.

I got burned out on Nevermind in the late 90's, didn't listen to it for a few years, now I throw it on every once in awhile and objectively realize just how fucking great it was.
