This is a fantastic album, Blue is as well. I really don't get why so many people here think Out Of The Vein is crap though... In my opinion it's the best stuff they've done, varied and extremely well written.

Motorcycle Drive By will always be my favourite Third Eye Blind song, by i think Out Of The Vein is the better album.

Love the review man... this is one of the first cds I bought, it's definitely one of the only that's a mainstay in my music collection. I lost my copy a while back (original red cover and all) and went ahead and bought it again. Narcolepsy, Burning Man, Motorcycle... I love it.

Motorcycle Drive By is amazing and definitely one of the strongest on the album. I really enjoyed this album on the whole...

Semi-Charmed Life is one of my top feel-good songs. You can't not be cheered up by it. That, some Edguy, and a little old school 'tallica and you're laughing.

Always a great album. And in response to those before, Out of the Vein is good but doesn't live up the other two with it's classics. There's some good ones, but in my oponion only 3 great ones. I also think that Blue is a better album than Third Eye Blind, but the self-titled one has more classics.

I can't wait for the new album, anyone know if they have a realise date yet?

I think everybody who listened to the radio once in a while back in the 90's remembers songs like "Jumper" and "Semi-Charmed Life".

I never really thought much of this album when it came out, however listening to it today, it still holds up somewhat.

One of the greatest albums to come out in my 21 years. I love this almost as much as Iluvatar loves Taking Back Sunday. This Message Edited On 10.02.08

This brings back some insanely good memories. most people have something like blink 182 or linkin park or something shitty as their "reminiscent" album, but I'm glad this is mine. If it wasn't for the three horrible tracks near the end, this would be dangerously close to 5.
