Thanks for the nice review, glad it aged well enough to merit one 127 months later (not like I'm counting).

It was a new engine, btw, had to be, lots of exteriors, day/night cycle.

'Coda' and 'Roger and Me' were both true outtakes, i.e., not in the game. A few other outtakes were released in the 'Mp3 of the week' program.

'Tristram/Town' wasn't included because I wanted to emphasize what made D2 a stand-alone title. That, and the tone of it would have broken up any flow (and I think I came close to packing in all 70 minutes, in any case).

Hope you like Torchlight 2 - I may do a promo CD for it, we'll see.

The Horadrim used to mummify their highest mages, and infuse them with spells that would allow them to protect their tombs, even after death. I have no idea why one of them would be acting so malevolently. Perhaps Drognan or Fara would know more about this.

Act II is sweet

Arcane Sanctuary is a great area.

Yeah Act II was good. Act III I wasn't as keen on until you got out of the jungle part with all the rivers.
