I still think its an improvment on Green.

Oi stop being so harsh on The Rivers! Yes he is very self indulgent and analysis things way to much..but thats just the way he is..and he writes songs to try and vent his feelings.
This is such a pity, The Damage in your heart and Hold me are quite good songs once you get used to 'em.

No Old weezer but sitll weezer never the less.

This album is corny. A few good songs but the rest are below the standard of any recording artist.

I didnt mind Weezer way back in the day of island in the sun. But sweet mother of god they went south. Since "make beleive" i havent been to a party that there hasnt been a big drunk sing along to the overplayed worthless pieace of garbage beverly hills. Gimme a break! AWESOME REVIEW MAN!

sadly, when i first got this album in 2005 i actually liked it, a little. back then, i'd probably give this a 2.5. but now, i haven't listen to that piece of shit album for 2 years. its one of the worst albums i've bought. ever. weezers 6th album is coming out in two months, and although i hope they will renew themselfs, i doubt they will.

Listening to this again makes me realise just how incredibly underrated the albums is. It's pretty solid, tough and poppy.

There's two or three good tracks
The CD cover makes an excellent coaster

This album makes me so... angry.



It's not just that the album is bad, it makes the earlier (fantastic) Weezer albums bad. It has the same behavior of cancer, slowly creeping throughout the main body of Weezer's work.



Suddenly, "Buddy Holly" doesn't seem so raucous and funny. "No One Else" doesn't carry the same blunt romantic message.



I hate it more than anything.

Unlike the 200 percent of the Sputnik community, I actually enjoy this album. I'm actually think about raising my rating (and I round off all my .5's).

i like a couple of their older hits that you hear all the time on the radio, but other than that weezer is soooooo overrated. and as for this new crap..... u gotta be kidding me, a 15 year old in his basement could make these songs.

I hate almost everything about this album. Why did Weezer decide to suck now, it's a shame although I was never the biggest fan to begin with
