Yeh they should have done more songs that were pre-Black album however i don't think any of the Kill'Em All songs would have worked with an orchestra. Fade to Black would have worked amazingly well but hey great review and awsome album.

This is one of the great albums out there today. It captures the Ochestra and Metallica Together. Whats a better clash?

I was very preased with this album, it brought pretty much all of their gtreatest songs together into one album, plus the addition of the orchestra only added the greatness of their songs

i heard they wanted to do this (or something similar to this) almost every year with different songs. The songs they used for this concert were experimental. AND THEY F***ING WORKED AWESOMELY!!!

They didn't though due to the turmoil they started to undergo (Napster, Jason leaving, etc.) and by the time the band was starting to settle Maistro Michael Kamen Died :'-(

They said they wouldn't want to work on another concert now because they admitted they wanted to only do this with him. Hopefully they change their minds because I would want them to do "To Live Is To Die" and "The Unforgiven." Other tracks I'd like to hear would be "Fade to Black" "Fight Fire with Fire" and "My Friend of Misery"

This album was perfect

Everyone is forgetting about the fact that 'Welcome Home (sanitarium)' would also have sounded awesome if done here.

I would've liked to see them attempt a 'Kill 'em all' track, Seek and destroy would've been interesting. Absolutely awesome album though.

Yeah. I would've loved to have seen Sanitarium, The Unforgiven, or Creeping Death, personally. I guess Fade To Black would've been pretty cool too.
Is it just me, or is Wherever I May Roam just the most crushingly badass wall of thunder on here? It just sounds so much more menacing and dark than it's album conterpart, IMO.
