Don't take my word for it, it's been getting mixed responses across the board. Some have been praising it, others condemning it

Good review, I really like it, but I have no idea what this would sound like at all just by going off the review

Great review Deviant I wanted to POS (if it was available) after the first paragraph. I really hope this is yet another album I completely disagree with you about. I love his whole discog. and would hate to be disappointed by the final album.

Good review, harsh though in my opinion. It's no where near as good as his first two but I probably prefer it to his most recent pair.

It's listed under hip hop, what does that tell you? Also, how have you not heard The Streets before?

Uh, you can because I'm not staff. What were the other album(s)?

This is easily his worst imo. I could barely get through the whole album

I don't know if you "get it." Outside Inside is his best track to date...he's playing more with words, and how they flow together on this album (i.e. more stream of consciousness than real pirate material)...i don't think he has anything more to "say," thus the indie-hip-hop move he's been shifting to since EiB will probably culminate with the last album (where he will no longer be making much straight-forward sense)...

Must have been a browser issue because it really wasn't available to me yesterday. Issue has been corrected and appropriate vote has been cast.

"What were the other album(s)?"

Don't recall but there have been a few we were polar opposites on. I just remember you being a flippant prick :^P

I always find it funny when people accuse other people of not "getting" something. But maybe I "got" it and still didn't like it genius, think about that?

So he's speaking in sentences now?

Kinda like what you just wrote

i respectfully disagree dev. the songs are much better than his previous album and the lyrics are more mature.

I prefer Everything Is Borrowed honestly, and I couldn't find a great deal of maturity outside of 'Blip On The Screen'. But that's cool dude, I respectfully accept your respectful disagreement

You always show up when I go on the negative track btw, what's up with that?

I can tell there isn't a lot of love for "Everything is Borrowed" in here but I think it was a great album and it is hands down his most mature work to date (excluding this as I've yet to hear it).

well now I'm just sad...

whoever wrote this is a very clever man, but he is wrong about the album, its a return to form for me, infact its a classic, everyone is entitled to there opinions but this review makes this album sound shite when infact its brilliant.
