New single pretty much sucks. The new album was dissapointing for me initially, but I gave it another chance and found some groovy stuff. It's really mellow overall, probs a 3.5

I haven't heard the album yet since the single kind of turned me off of listening to it. But I'll give it a chance eventually once I get through this large pile of Death Metal rec's I've forgotten about for a few months.

Mimsy I love me some Cake as I know you do. You'd probably give it a higher ranking than me after it sinks in. Federal funding is just so incredibly bland and repititious with the retarded point it continually hints at but fails to make. It's the one song on the album I never listen to.



33 just get it....if you like Cake you know how consistent they are. In the end it's through and through a Cake album.

Such an awesome album. I'm torn between this and Comfort Eagle their best.
