Their classic streak is Overkill, Bomber & Ace of Spades. Every man needs some Motorhead.

I know I still have some serious gap to fill when it comes to the bands who've pioneered the heavy/metal genre. As a teenage, the further I went was into bands such as Black Sabbath, Rainbow, a very few-Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, a few Alice Cooper and stuff. It was somewhat against my will, because these are the first bands I've covered with some fellow musicians in my teenage, while I was already a finished proghead. I'm curious enough to check Motorhead out.

I'm wondering: do you still play regularly?

I'm waiting for a multi-instrumentalist with whom I've played on and off in the last 3 years. The guy is very prolific and I have a lot of his songs waiting for me on his shelf. We used to try to complete enough songs to do some gigs with guest musicians and all but sadly it's kind of unstable. (we both have our obligations) Hopefully we're gonna investigate more time eventually. Other than that, I'd like to give some drum lessons part time. Music is more like a hobby to me now. So it's all fine.

You don't have any of your drumming recorded so I can hear, by any chance?

Thanks man. There's some minor flaws but it's just a pre-production.

Great review. Still need to hear this though. Only heard Turn of the Cards, but it's fantastic. You've got to get some Motorhead dude. Just gritty, agressive, fun rock/metal.

Thanks Angel, since I've heard their the three golden era-albums mentioned in the review here, I can tell you you'll certainly like this if you liked Turn of the Cards.

Don't miss 'Ashes are Burning', Angel. You guys convinced me to give to Motorhead a shot. And about the ghost negger, shit happens.

Yeah you're right; both are highly melodic and flirt with classical music. Same for them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTC7WgR-gcw

They sing in French, but the vocals are really seductive. Take a look.

You did know in advance that I'd put that link right? haha.
