Yeah, I wouldn't call it groundbreaking either, but the overall mixture of sounds to me is well done, and I think they combine influences that are great.



Bleekill, vintage 70s doom or anything retro metal is my sweet spot. Witchcraft, the last two electric wizard, the devil's blood, burning saviours, blood ceremony, etc. I just love the sound, but yeah, I get what you mean with the mood.

The rumour about this band is this is a side project, and the people involved don't want to be linked to Ghost. If it turns out to be true, does anybody have an idea of who it might be?

Yeah I've heard that, I've also heard one of The Devil's Blood's guitarists is in it. But don't hold me to that.

Yeah, Repungent vocalist and guitarist maybe.....who knows, I don't care, but it would be interesting to know who. However, I still love this record. It is going down as one of my favorites for sure. I don't know what it is, but I love that dude's voice. And yes, Ritual is quality. I hope they keep releasing albums every now and then. Inveigh, you should check it out.

Ghost is special and hits home in many aspects.



I saw them live at Roskilde. The smiles on people's faces afterwards, I haven't seen that since the eighties. They actually had fun at a metal concert.
