Definitely an evolution of his sound. Throughout his albums, one can observe how he got around to making this album. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable album, crafted by a musician who knows his purpose.

I've never really understood why the tournament is called that...


^^^Same reason why some people call a best of 7 series consisting of only 2 teams, a tournament....I guess.


Related--This is a really solid album. Never gave I and W proper attention in the past, as i always found his stuff unapproachable and pretentious. But i find this album to be exactly the opposite of what i expected. And that's why i'm thoroughly enjoying it.
