this record gives me chills. hauntingly beautiful guitar tones and vocal soundscapes.

Sad this band didn't put anything else out after this album, because I feel like with a little more time to hone their vision, it could have been unique! I think this album is meant to be a "play front-to-back" record since everything does bleed together a bit, but I think its fun. Transcendence and The Giver slay.

This album brings me back to a very sensitive time in my life, so I usually come back to this once or twice a year. Just wish they could have done more to grow from here.

Really wish this band would have stuck around.

album would be perfect if there was 30% less screams and 30% more cleans.

Idk of all the vocals, I like the growls/screams more than the cleans, but that's just me. This band was 5 years too early imo.

this has aged much better than a lot of the risecore from ten years or so ago.

thought about this last night after listening to Makari.
i think i heard this in full once and loved it. gonna try to keep it in the more consistent rotation.

I like a lot of the lesser known rise late 2000's early 2010's Tides of Man probably broken up core

This and Of Machines album stand out for me in the "broke up too soon Rise band" category

100% agree with that Vult. These guys and Of Machines were both really fun, definitely would have liked a few more releases between the two of them. Good bump though, might have to spin this today for the fun of it.

its a real shame they never made a follow up lp. this is an interesting lp with some cool ideas, but it feels a tad repetitive after a while.

i feel like they could have really come into their own a second time around
