i dont really get this review at all, sorry
"The tracks don't aim for highs and lows or rise and fall well enough to stand on their own."
i'm not sure what you're saying here, but what is "babopbyeya" if not a track that has MULTIPLE "highs and lows" and "rises and falls"? or, um, the rest of the album? "sir greendown" in itself is the "low" to "dance or die"->"faster"->"locked inside"'s constant "high" (this is not a matter of quality, sir greendown is amazing, it's more a matter of mood).
"She's something no one's listened to in a minute, "
what does this mean?
the third paragraph clears up a little bit of the fog left by the rest of the review, but it still leaves me a little bewildered as to what you're really trying to say.

i was half singing the chorus of tightrope / half saying that none of the songs suck me in with anticipation
"She's something no one's listened to in a minute"
I meant her sound hasn't been around a lot

I agree. Her EP is a bit better than this album. Mostly because it's way shorter.

i just cant agree with that robertsona, i feel like every track beyond cold war, make the bus, come alive, and wondaland is decent. Those four are really groundbreaking for the genre, but the rest are just solid pop/neo-soul that's been done before i feel.
i'm not saying anything here sucks (it made my top 25), i mean tightrope is a solid track. it's just not what anyone would expect to hear after an album as original as metropolis part 1.

Babobyeya is the best off this and wondaland comes in second followed by make the bus

I don't much like BaBopBye Ya... I feel like I'm vaguely at a mall or JC Penney and .... uh....
this album is also way too long to hold up at a 3.5 or 4 I should mention that
