I feel like most people just listened to it once or twice, gave it a 4 just because, and then never thought about it again. It's not one of those records you listen to over and over again, not for me anyway. I gave this a 4 at first but each subsequent listen lowered it by .5
I'm gonna stop listening before I agree with Adam's rating

So much raw emotion there I want to cry a little bit because it speaks to me on so many levels like because the tree is like his life and he got cut down because she ended his life but he's rising again because yeah that's what cut down trees do

There's nothing really catchy or impressive instrumentally with this album...as for the lyrics, well you summed it up pretty nicely already in this review. If you want to feel depressed listen to this.

Good review. I've heard good things about this but I was never able to get into it. Maybe I'll give it another try to see where I stand. Seems like a love it or hate it kinda thing.
