Never got around to checking the band out, but this looks pretty cool based on the review. Downloading their s/t right now.

Keep in mind that this and the S/T sound pretty different.

I like this more than you. In my opinion, Lundr hasn't lapsed in consistency at all.

I can most definitely see why people like this but in the end when I look at all of the tracks I can only pick out three of the six that are really on par with what he's capable of doing. The other three ("Watching You", "Make An Idol Of Our Fear And Call It God" and "...Seeing...") are good, don't get me wrong, it's just that I feel he could have done more with them and developed the concepts a bit better.

Pretty much the songs he released on his split with WBBS are way better than the ones on his split with Skagos.

so this is a combo of his splits with Skagos and WBSS? was this actually intended as a cohesive LP or is this more a compilation of his 2010 material? if its the latter i can understand the comment on this album being shaky

Kinda miss the production of self-titled. This is really good but the production bothers me and it doesn't seem to flow as good as his other two.

not saying because i know but i think that it's just a comp. i'd go so far as to assume that the respective panopticon sides of the splits have some theme or concept, and perhaps the theme/concept of one split is loosely connected with the other, but i don't think it's one cohesive LP along the lines of the s/t or collapse

Feels cohesive to me, musically that is.

I'm kinda lost... was this actually released in any way this year? All of this material has been out and I checked his MySpace, no mention of this being re-released.

that's because the compilation had extremely limited distribution

So then this IS a complication. It should be labeled as such then and not as an LP.

If this is just a 3.5 then he gets a good bit weaker with every album he makes.

This would be true if Collapse wasn't his best material.

Self-titled is a bit better than collapse imo.

Yeah the self-titled is the best.
