If Shag didn't sound like a little bitch now adays this wouldn't have been as terrible. It'd still
haven been terrible, just not *as* terrible.

I went back and put a lot more detail into the review. I expanded on somethings while adding other points of interest I felt would benefit the review.

one thing I'll mention

"That is fucking pathetic. Four lines do not a song make, Shagrath."

pretty sure king wrote everything, not Shagrath.

Shagrath wrote almost all the lyrics for the album.

That is fucking pathetic. Four lines do not a song make, Shagrath. What’s worse is that Ghosting’s run time is over six minutes. They also have a track sung entirely in Norwegian, because as we all know that no black metal release is complete without a song sung entirely in Norwegian.
this is just ranting for the sake of ranting.

1. It doesnt matter how many lines of lyrics they are in a song, its not fucking essay.
2. The band is Norwegian, so they can sing in Norwegian if they want to.

I've just found it to be cliche and overused to have only one song on an entirely English sung album to be sung only in Norwegian.

Also, my gripe with the lyrics are that they are uninspired, they are repetitive, and the overall feeling of them is that little to no effort was put into writing them. Just because you don't feel album lyrics should be essay length FadeToBlack doesn't justify the fact that the lyrics on this album are very bad.

Honestly...I don't mind a lot of this.

I fucking love Shagrath. Dude doesn't get his due. I also forgive King for a lot of his transgressions, generally, since he had a hand in writing Prosperity and Beauty, which for my money might be the greatest bm track ever.

Hearing Shagrath play over some evil, if by-the-numbers bm, is fun. A lot of this is fun.

Solid 3-3.5 territory.
