I am still unable to put distance between that image - a perfect summation of everything that was wrong with me in those six months - and 'Sowing Season'

I was like "Oh, what's this about Knott and Sowing now?"; then I looked at the track-listing. Aha.

Excellent review Knott. No need for another bout of our traditional amicable disagreements this time! ;)

And the review also seems shorter than it really is - probably because of the massive swathe of other reviews sitting on the sidebar.

good review I look at the album in much the same light but I find it more comforting than upsetting.

It is quite possible the emotionally heaviest album I've ever heard

I think you mean possibly?

either way this was a very engaging read Adam. Very good job. I don't have much of an affinity for this band but as usual your reviews shine a different light on artists I'd usually have no piece of.

This might actually be my favorite review of TDAG yet, just because it reflects my own personal attachment and history regarding this album. The way you described things is so...I don't know...indicative of how TDAG really makes me feel. Absolutely amazing work man.

You only forgot one thing though, and that was to add 0.5 to your rating. But I will let it slide because the review is so solid.

This is really a review of Sowing Season more than anything else. Its impossible to neg though because its really well-written. I wouldn't crown you for being an objective critic, but the next time I listen to Sowing Season, I'll prob have you story in mind
