Fear Factory are like my favorite band now and this is their best album fo sho

Obsolete was way more focused in its musicianship and overall theme.

I've thought about it, and this is a better album than I gave it credit for six months ago.

However, it's not the classic I misinterpreted it to be when I first looked into it.

It's great for killing an hour. Really fun, in a way. But it isn't something I can listen to twice a week, which to me is a downside.

I’m pretty sure that “Dog Day Sunrise” is a Head of David cover off their “Dustbowl” album released in the late eighties. Unless they covered it as well but I was always pretty sure that this was their song.

I used to like FF a lot when I was younger. I can see how something like this would have been a big influence on mallcore bands to come but still think it’s a good album in itself. Perhaps not quite on par with SOANM (one of the albums that really got me to delve deeper into metal) but definitely better than everything that followed.

This was such a huge jump from their debut, but these days that's the only Fear Factory album I still throw on.

It was the first album ever to mix extreme metal and industrial metal, and it does so extraordinarily.

I thought Soul of a New Machine held that title.

I like demanufacture based on the fact it does have quite a unique sound replica is my all time favorite and i also was impressed with dog day sunrise including therapy for pain. The only downer on this album was indeed some of the vocal performance's than theirs some are just good to break away from all the raw raw/growl that you hear too much nowadays.
