Just regular sounds! Yet they are excellent, this is a Stereolab album after all!

Mort. seriously you STILL haven’t checked the ‘lab?

Start (near) the beginning. Their discog has many delights of various tipples, I trust you can find your way. Thinking you will dig Transient but D&L is an all-timer / my fave

Hmm, yes this is in fact... music!

pretty good music actually. I don't know that I'll be revisiting this (or Chemical Chords) often, but in isolation they're at least decent

It isn't their best but it isn't their worst either (that's Chem Chords for me).

Yes, I may prefer this to Chemicords, good take

Borderline promotion material. But then it'd seem weird having a couple of their earlier records 3.5d. Decisions, decisions

ngl Chem Chords >>> this

both shaky end-to-end, but the bangers on Chem Chords are highlights of '00s stereolab whereas this is a flatline the whole way through and ez their weakest

I find it a bit easier to vibe with this front-to-back idk, it's probably close-ish to be fair

standing by my current assumption that I'll be revisiting both on a very occasional basis, but who knows?

Chem Chords has playlistable tracks and this doesn't, so the revisit factor is a bit of a wash

the last time I made a playlist was probably a decade ago now, maybe longer, lol

Yeah I am 100% team Not Music and not team Chem Chords. They're not too far apart of course, but this is clearly 0.5 more enjoyable overall.
