I half to agree with the newer CoF being better. POEMF was awful vocally. New Metallica isn't the same as their first five albums.

I'd say this was a disappointment, but I'd be lying. I can't be disappointed by something I didn't expect much from.

Solid review FilthyBorgir. That said, as a track by track this is quite hard to read, but the passion and desire to describe what you're hearing is obviously there. I'd hazard a guess at saying your first review was a tad better, but don't let it discourage you from trying out new styles of writing or even new forms of music.
You have a lot to contribute - it's just a matter of putting pen to paper. Or finger to keyboard for that matter; you get the point.
