Sorry for that messy triple post, my comp gets unreliable these times.

It's not you, sputnik is just slow right now.

Oh, really?...I also have to add some 'mémoire vive' (ram?) to my comp.

Well, it could always have been you AND sputnik, which is now running normally again. Anyway, thread should be for Yes talk.

Thanks guys. I see you've been a loyal commenter on my reviews recently Irving, it's much appreciated. Most of the 'research' just comes from listening a lot, it's useful to know a thing or two about similar bands from the era.

Indeed I have been commenting a lot on your stuff =) It's hard to ignore your pieces Nag (and since he's probably reading this, Jethro's too, for that matter). Like I said, there's lots that can be gleaned from your style in terms of knowledge; ultimately, I guess that I find reading what people like you, Jethro, and BigHans produce is incredibly helpful for a (relatively) poorly-listened reviewer like me.

Just ask Xeno. God knows I embarrassed myself massively with my comments on one of his reviews last night. Haha! XD

Keep writing Nag!

to Irving: The purpose of the site is largely based in sharing musical knowledge. You yourself help a lot by providing relevant constructive criticism here and there, plus you have a promising start in reviewing.

So you have yourself a special place in the contribution's wagon of Sputnik. Cheers!

Gonna get this now because I've been slacking on the prog lately. Great review as always.

Thank you both. If I can keep up my enthousiasm I plan to do Genesis as well, at Jethro's strong urging.

This would make me so happy, mate. Genesis needs sooo much more recognition on Sputnik, and is in urgent need of well done reviews (like the one written by Eved for instance), and I cant see no one else but you for that task.

Just try not to be discouraged by the size of their discog. You could divide their 15 LPs into three parts, a review from time to time. Do whatever you want, whenever you want, but please do it.

They only made six albums with Gabriel so that should be not too ambitious a start.

I still need Selling England, so that should give me some motivation to get it

Selling England is actually the only Genesis album I own physically.

Exactly. There is yet so much to be done to highlight progressive rock on here. Let's make the difference!

That would be Topographic Oceans. You need to hear Relayer, it's so much better that album even though it doesn't have Wakeman.
