i don't really get that in general, where people just check out 1 acclaimed album by a particular artist, profess to love it and dont check out anything else, but then i don't expect everyone to be as much of a music nerd as i am

but this guy has 21,000 sputnik posts and a 2011 join date so he's definitely a nerd

that's happened to me before. it's usually just when i check out 1 album, listen to it a fuckton until i really get to know it, go and check out another album by that band but end up just going back to the first album cause i already love it and it's comfortable

hmm yeah i kinda get that, but personally if i really love that first album i'll be excited to check out the rest of the discog to see if anything else matches up
