Just listened to the one with the Attack Attack! singer in. I've heard a lot worse. Nice cleans but very generic. Might give

this a listen.

Besides Desertion and Dead Weight there isn't much to see here.

Disappointing album. Only 7 songs and the last one is terrible so shouldn't even be counted.

Above mentioned songs are indeed the highlights, seems like they had he potential to knock something decent out here - what a shame.

ya'll are crazy, In Regret has an amazing chorus and the catchiest riff off the album! the part where caleb screams in dead weight also sounds awesome!.

half-hearted and desertion are meh songs though. but surroundings, in regret and dead weight are above par imo.

This EP is great - I think these guys have got a lot of potential, especially if they sort out their production.

i don't think their production is an issue, they just need to experiment a bit more to find their niche, i want more originality but they have a great sound.

kinda repetitive, except for the closer track. songs are good by themselves, but it gets boring to listen to the same over and over.

i would like this more if there was no clean singing, it pisses me off.

I agree with the mention near the end about the closer track. I think it's gorgeous, and a few lines in particular even choke me up sometimes, but I tend to skip it because it just doesn't flow with the mood that the rest of the EP puts me into.

In response to foxblood's comment on his cleans, I think it actually sounds fairly distinct in comparison to a lot of bands in this genre, but maybe that's just because I'm so used to it by now. I could definitely see this EP passing with no clean vocals, but they help bridge the diversity between the first 6 tracks and the title track.

PS I gotta throw in, I love the intros to Desertion and Half Hearted. Lots&lots.

clean singing is the only good thing about this.
