I went through a year thinking Pink Floyd was a million times better with Syd than post-Barret.

i actually like the vocals on this, they really convey an underlying tension in syds psyche. this whole album to me feels like he knows hes going psychotic and hes struggling just to be sane. you do bring up a lot of legitimate complaints though. he makes a lot of obvious mistakes and the technical musicianship is sub-par in some places.
